rusty non-roundie... I would invest in lots of suspension (aka dealing with rust) that will seriously improve the feel of your heavier late model /02.
scared for you without serious safety upgrades... please be careful with that car

^ real owner of my cars
Now THAT'S a really clean RED late-model 02. Nice, Mikko.
Compared to the diving boards on my E30, these bumpers could be called "the Park Bench"!

I am new to the forum so I thought I would introduce my 1976 Verona 2002a. It's my first one but not my first BMW. I bought her in Washington and brought all the way down to Arizona to care for her. Its pretty hot right now to drive her around. She runs like a champ and trying to figure out what to do next. I think a 5 speed will be a waste because I would hate to lose her value. Would love some suggestions. Thank you!
Welcome to bf.c 2002 forum, Nice looking 02 - i especially like the bridge pic.
I'm not following your 5-speed thinking, I'd assume it'd add value over a slushbox -- unless your car is a full-OEM resto, tho' even then you could always just keep the Auto tranny you took out to enjoy the 5-speed ;-) But I'm biased, having ditched the Auto long ago, and I'm a mod-aholic.

I spotted this car in California today or yesterday, can't recall.

I guess now's a good time to share my 2002....
I purchased an old ITB race car from a forum member and I'm turning it back into a street car. It sat for some 12-13yrs, so most everything needs attention. It's proving to be a pretty fun project.
Fresh off the truck:
Registered and driveable!
I've sourced almost all the parts I need and I'm getting ready for paint. More photos after paint.

Thanks guys. Having lots of fun with this one. Can't wait to drive it.
Some 2002 Pictures I've shot.
This one has Black license plates, because it's the original first plates of the car.
My own thing, that'll be good to go next summer.
