Pictures of my 76. Recently changed over to a Kamei air dam and CJ's Alpina Replicas. Car was originally Chamonix. When I purchased the car it was painted Schwarz, it now appears as white with a light silver flake, which looks very close to Chamonix but with a little kick. Last photo is the only back shot I have at the moment, hey two for one.
stuckiemobile. They are everywhere!
For those that do not know, I bought the shell for the yellow little car from Andy a few years ago.
LOL, Bill you need to post the "how it looked when I got it pic". Harry, your nightmare hasn't even begun...
I know, Andy, I know......
I think I'm gonna take some welding classes, and maybe start yoga classes also..

I think this will be your crowning achievement. "Zen and the Art of Touring Reconstruction". The story of a man , a machine and the rusty road rarely traveled. Read HarryPR's new book of a life experience meant only for the strong of heart, backbone of steel and the courage of a Lion. See as he asks his wife for permission to tear apart an old car and lovingly bring it back to life, forsaking all others in the pursuit of rust and a pertectly tuned kugelfischer.
LOL!! Good one!
Or how about: The story of an innocent man from a far away tropical island and how he was enticed by Alexander, the Arkansas guru with the colorful chariots, into a life of desperation as he searched for the missing pieces of the holy '02 grail in order to gain acceptance to the mysterious secret society of worshipers who constantly chant the mysterious mantra t-i-i-".

Harry (& Andy (& Bill)) ---- you are too much... your 'stories' sound almost Star Wars-esque!
"In a galaxy far, far away...02tii-P-O awakens to a total resto, whilst the Dark Side conspires to thwart them with NLA euro components..."
"Kugelfischer you must!"

Thanks JR. Where am I? That's a story; usually in Queens. I lost my home to a fire on 12/1/08 and just about all its contents, which included many e9 parts (weatherstripping, interior panels, etc.) Thankfully, no loss of life, including pets and first responders. Enough of that, I hope to play car again by the summer and look forward to meeting you. We should all try to converge on Captree (close to Jones Beach, L.I.) during the Summer. That's the closest I have seen to the west coast's Cars and Coffee.
Al Larson, feel free to send me my parts; a few less things I will have to replace.

Here's what I started with...
Built to be driven!
JR, traffic is killer during the week but not on Sunday mornings. Cars show between 7 and 10am, then move out to make way for beach goers. We beat the traffic coming in and travel against it leaving out. Any car person in the NY/NJ/CT tri state has to experience it at least once. I was surprised when I pulled up; my jaw dropped. There is a lot of American muscle, a considerable number of exotics, and a few of our vintage ilk, ie, BMW, MB, Porsche.
Hey....
where is this event again?..oh I got it..Captree......I reallly want something by CT/Westchester.....LI just is a big drag to me......
CT and West. can support alot of good metal. The roads are great.....less congested etc...Ill check out Captree though.
can you post a pic of your car...Ive never seen it....found the pics!!
thanks......are you still in Queens?...
