Looking for help with a customer car that came in. This car is good from far and very far from good. I'm trying to figure out why the blinkers and hazards do not work. I found a diagram and it looks like they are on fuse 2 and 6. In the diagram it shows a red power wire from the battery to fuse 2 but there is now power at the fuse. The running lights work but no blinkers or hazards. This car has some type of after market efi system and it looks like it's getting power from a jumper wire from the fuse block. While looking I noticed that fuse 8 has power on both sides with no fuse assuming why the fuse is missing. Any help would be great thanks new to the forum.
Years ago I had issues with the turn signals not working on then my mom’s ‘74. It was the red hazard switch that someone played with that wasn’t making proper contact. After some contact cleaner and exercising it repetitively, both the hazard lights and the turn signals were working properly.
This could be a place to check.
