Question Help! i got head problems

I have an 85 325e with about 220,000 miles and i have 50 psi compression on cyl #4, the rest are fine. So i figured if im gonna pull off the head might as well rebuild it all. Can i swap it with a 88 325e head, i heard those heads have bigger valves. Is there anything else i should do. also what should i check for when i have my head off and disassembled. any other information on this head or other possibilities would be greatful.

    thanx, Garren

Are you sure that the low compression is because of the head? Rings may be shot as well.
The 88 325e head does have larger valves, but it also has a larger combustion chamber. This would drop your c/r too low, and you'd lose too much power.
