Differences between 1999 and 2000 3 series

I know the e46 model 3 series is exactly the same between 1999 and 2000, but what is the difference between the two years?

Say, between a 1999 323i, and a 2000 323i?

There is no difference, except for maybe an option or two. The sedans were redesigned in 1999 to the E46 body still and then in 2000 the Coupes and Convts. followed the redesign. 2001 is when the engines changed.
