I have a '90 325i 2-door 5-speed with 153k miles. She just had a major inspection, timing belt and tensioner replacement, and a distributor cap and rotor replacement. Best $573 I spent in my life. 6k RPM is bliss. I used to drive a Suburban K2500 with a 454... maybe 4k RPM if I got lucky. Only had the Bimmer 2 weeks and I've already learned stick and took her out to the mountains for some fun time. She sticks like glue... at least compared to the 'Burban.

I'll bite. 89,700 miles on a 1985 318i and everything works, including the cassette deck and my 80's tapes.

1989 325i convertible, 162K miles.
Just put on its 3rd top, new windshield, headlights, fog light lenses, front turn signal lenses, steering wheel, stereo; the rest pretty much is still original.
1991 325IX approximately 212,000 miles.
210,000 on the soon-to-be retired 1990 vert. 273,500+ on the 1991 318i (odometer finally crapped out about 80 miles ago).
