Help: are these real OEM M Contours or fakes???

Before any of us plunk down $1300 for these M Contours, will those of you who know your stuff please look at these pictures and tell us whether or not these are really OEM??

    Pictures:

The link was sent to me in an email from bmwg84 who claims these are OEM and wants $1300 for them.

Compare those to these OEM ones from bavarianautosport.com:

    Thanks everyone.

    We can't see the picture.

FYI, real Contours have a raised portion around the valve stem, where the fakes I've seen dont. Also, I believe there is no indented portion where the ///M goes on the fakes.

    Good luck

    No problem.....sure sounds fishy.

BTW, I'm an expert on the fakes because I have them on my 318 for the track. They are a bit heavier than stock, but I have been crazy about them otherwise (and they are very cheap at the Tire Rack)!

Yah thats the thing...if theyre fakes theyre fakes--so what if you like them.

But its a whole different story if youre tryin to sell something fake as something real... which Im not saying dude is tryin to do... i jus was lookin for verification from somebody who has 'em like you do (jblack)...

    As Ed McMahon said:

    "You are correct, sir"

And watch my comments on tires too

I'm sure he's a straight shooter....and he does not comment on the authenticity, but if they are fakes, it is at least misleading and overpriced......

Those are fake as a $3 bill. If you look at them the ///M is in different spots on both wheels and the rim itself is polished with clear coat.

I belive he has corrected himself on the thred where he is selling them. He now calls them "contour look". I would like it if he called them "Contour Replicas". Also, those tires cannot be right for the wheels - there is no correct fitment for the rear of a staggered setup M3 in the Supersports. Also, we dont know if they are the inexpensive all seasons (supersports), or the more expensive summers.
