I few weeks ago, I sent my DME to RMS for reprogramming for my Stage 1+ SC setup. I was very nervous sending it out, since this is my 1st OBD2 BMW, where the entire unit needs to go.
In the midst of all kinds of confusion, and speaking with multiple people over at RMS, I figured my requests would go completely un-noted. Those California guys are so relaxed! hehe
I specifically asked Osh to consider that I was going to run Aquamist and a few more lbs of boost in the near future, and to factor that into his program. He said yes so easily that I figured he forgot before we got off the phone!
Well I tossed the M coupe on the dyno, and had the HP Torque and Air Fuel Ratio tested.
Here is what I got in 87 degree conditions:
HP :282 RWHP @ 5900 RPMS.
TQ: 255 ft/lbs @ 4000 RPMS or so. (rear wheel)
Air Fuel was so rich up top (as requested) that the car stumbled between 6000 and 7000 RPMS were it should have made most of its power.
This means that with a stage 1 Air Fuel ratio the car was on par to make 300 RWHP. Which is normal.
This essentially gives me the green light to add 2 more lbs of boost once I install the Aquamist!
I am impressed that Osh remembered my request, and didn't just send out a Stage 1. Figuered some of you guys would be interested.
I will post new numbers when I go to 8.5 psi, and add the BB triflow exhaust.

Post your power curve and A/F-vs.-RPM graph, I would like to see them.
Looks like it is time to change my sig huh Greg???
M cuber,
I have no scanner, so I will see what I can do. I would have used Ferrarokids, but he threw it out into the street when it refused to work....
I'm happy I'm not his keyboard!:
The car start's off at 12.9 at initial throttle, then dips down to 9 or so up top...
Greg
Hey Brad!
How is your project coming along?
Nah I like your sig as is. My car was on cruise control when you passed me

Nice, Greg! Thanks for keeping us posted!
I don't even want to talk about my car.. Let just say I should have it back by the end of next week at latest.
What are you doing this weekend? I was going to goto D.C. but that was under the assumption that I would have my car. Oh Well!!!
This is what I have for B+B autobody :

Good numbers, Greg. Looks like RMS is getting it all together now. I just wish I could find out more about when I can get this Stage 3 junk!!!
This weekend in DC is the National Grand Prix, BTW. I posted a thread about it in the Gatherings section. There will be a celebrity race on Saturday along with some other stuff. Should be a fun time.
I must note that the Torque curve for the 3.2L engine vs the 3.0L engine is very different!
The highest I ever made in the SC 95 M3 to the wheels with headers, and pulley and 6 psi was 236 ft/lbs. An pretty late in the range...
This car made 20ft/lbs more, much earlier in the range, and stays nearly flat all the way through.
It resembles more a Turbo torque curve than a supercharger.
It certainly pulls more like a turbo car too!

Greg, you are coming to the NJ meet in August, right? You and Tommy, etc....?
When/where is the NJ meet? Wondering whether I have a snowballs' chance of having the twin-screw on and working by then...Originally posted by SilverStreak

: I'll do my best, Greg, I'll do my best! Considering it will be late August, and the best time I could swing in June was an 11.95 at 114.1 mph in 82 degree heat (versus my 11.71 at 115.6 mph in 36 degree temps last Feb), I may need to get off my rump and get that new pulley, larger injectors, and Aquamist installed....
As far as the Martial Arts Demo is concerned, are you volunteering? :
technically, it's a Z3 meet, for coupes and roadsters here at BFC, but others are welcome, of course.... We're gonna hit Atco on Sun 8-25 for the Test n Tune runs that AM, and all the Roadsters running under 13.99 without 4 point cages will get kicked out!
damnit... why did I have to read this thread and depress myself... although if the seller on the house chickens out... I might still have the roadster in august!
