It's pretty nice, 265K, exterior is mint, started M3 conversion, interior is about 90%, but i think it needs a power steering pump (the wheel is hard to turn, seller said its just a leak but there was no puddle, and he couldn't show me the leak so i think its the pump) and the rear shocks are going. The tranny every time i shifted felt like it was making loud noises, i havent driving a stick in a while and i had to push this clutch down farther than my golf. Do BMW's clutches normally depress far or is the clutch going too? The only other thing is it's missing about ten misc. trim pieces (emblems, clips, etc.) not a biggie. He wants 5G firm. cert/e-tested
what do you think about those few things?
thanks,
Jeff
High mileage, tranny and power steerinig pump seems suspiscious, and others as well for 5G.

I bought my 95 325I Convertible (Alpineweiss) with 149k mi for $2995.00
Only thing so far I had to do is change the rear shocks. Rest was just a small maintenance such as water pump, thermostat housing, thermostat, tune up.
Look around. There has to be another E36 clean and well maintained somewhere.

for those of us that don't know the active exchange rate, you should also post what that is in U.S. please.
that number of miles is pretty high combined with the tranny problems you mentioned and the little things missing.
--DrDubHold on let me get my laptop and read this on the toilet.
is that 265,000 kilometers? or miles?
5000 Canadian dollar is equal to 4092.32 US Dollar.
265000KM is equal to 164700miles.

oh and another thing i forgot, the average 325 goes for around 7-9G here, so i dont think 5 is too bad considering if i put 2-4G into it it would be nicer than those other ones

What the hell? Do you realize that was a deal of a lifetime?Originally Posted by 410225

Yeah.. I got mine from West Chicago thru traderonline.com. This nice older couple was getting rid of their 325IC, now mine, and was getting brand new 330CI. It was maintained from the dealer in IL and was in very good shape.
The reason so low was that it was all paid off, he thought there is lots of work needed to done, so he lowered the price to just get rid of. I got the car same day it was advertised.
