Oil question, I did seach but couldn't find what I was looking for.
Ok Guys,
I am about to change the oil of my '97 M3.
I decided for the engine I will go with Mobil 1 10w30 or 10w40 Sync. or I still have 7qt. of BMW 15w40.
But I don't know what should I get for the Transmision and the diff. most what I would like to know is how much qts do I need for the trany (manual) and how many for Diff. should I get sym add. for LSD or it should be fine w/o
What brand and visc would you recomend?
Please I need to know ASAP

Use up the 15W40 and next time get mobil 0W40
Mobil 10W30 is too thin and not A3 rated
