Hi, I am new to the forum and wanted to say Hey and introduce myself. I just bought a 2002 gorgeous Stahlgrau 2002 M Coupe about 3 months ago. Always wanted a Z3 years ago, but one test drive was all that it took to grab the M Coupe. It's a shame that the rain is upon us now, so she'll be garaged until the next dry day. It would be great to find others in the area who have suggestions for drives and maintenance questions as well as best tire places locally etc.

I'm in the Portland metro area. Specifically, Washington County near, but not in, Portland, Beaverton, and Hillsboro.

No pics yet, but coming soon. It's a jet black 1997 328is coupe, 5-speed, non-sports package, stock. Well maintained by previous owner at dealership. First mod will be suspension (for street).

Both pictures taken at Spokane Raceway Park. Great track with a long straight. If you've never done a driving school there be sure to put it on your 2008 list of tracks to run.

I just recently got a '92 525i, decent shape. The Calypso color has held up well . Put a new short shift kit in.

19' Hartge Wheels.. just need one more tire and rear spacers.

Gorgeous, what method of painting did you use on your wheels?

Been hangin 'round the e21 section for quite some time, I guess I've just never scrolled down far enough to even notice that this section exists! I'm a co-founder of a Portland local group for classic Bimmers, mostly e21's, but a couple of '02s, E12s, a CS, couple of E30's and even an E36.

I personally are on my second e21, started with a 1983 320i, which sadly was totalled, and then I found a 323i from a local guy which was a complete rust bucket, and completely restored the body and interior. If you are interested in the pics of the complete restoration process, click here and check out the sub-albums, or go to the e21 section and search for "formal introduction" and you'll find a writeup that I did there, (I'd post a link to it, but I keep getting a database error trying to access that page) or a more complete writeup that I did in-process on pnwbb.com my local forum site. (even though we don't even come close to competing with Bimmerforums, I don't want to give that impression)

To post a list of mods would be kinda silly, I've done so much to this car that I wouldn't be able to remember it all if I tried.
