I've got a mint new in Box N64 (well I've been anal about keeping it)
as well as some mint condition N64 games. In addition some old PS games.
I keep saying to myself (some day I might play them).
But realistically it's just more old shit (1996) in my house.
I realize I will never be able to buy this stuff again if I sell it.
But I never play it anyway.
Do you keep your old video games once their played/ as trophies?
I know it sounds mental. Am I living in a fantasyland thinking I'm going to need this stuff someday? Have I become my father? unwilling to get rid of crap I don't use?
Because I paid for those bastards, and I'll be damned if I sell a 50 dollar game for 5 dollars.
I still have my Commodore 64!!
Because I'm just nostalgic like that.
Because Mario 64 is one of the best video games ever. That game was revolutionary for the whole Mario series. I don't play video games anymore because I left my PS2 at home, but I remember when I was younger, playing Mario 64. It was amazing; possibly the best video game I've ever played when I was a kid.

I give my old consoles (and TVs and electrical appliances) to friend and their kids. I trickle down everything through friends but then again I am an "early adopter".
I trade in 99% of my old games except those few gems but since getting the latest version of a game I very seldomly go back to play a prior version. Like GT4, GT3, GT2, GT.
I don't even know where most of my stuff is. Who cares, you could get emulators and d/l games for just about any system ever made.
