rust in a/c hose, how to clean?

theres rust in the hose that goes to the Receiver dryer to the condensor, what can i clean it out with? i was thinking about spraying wd40 and blowing air in it through a compressor. any ideas?
Change the hose is not an option.

Why is changing the hose not an option. You will need to take it off to clean it anyway. If the rust is on the inside, you do not want to blow the rust into your condensor or anything like that. And yea, if you are absolutely set on just cleaning it, use dw40 liberaly, brush it out, and replace.
