    Help with value of 88 m3 pls.

    I posted this elsewhere but didnt get much info.

    I could use some help as I am close to purchasing a white 88 M3 with 115,000 miles. The exterior is very nice. Shiny origimal paint with no dents or dings. 16 in racing dynamic wheels painted white-YUK!
    Interior is OK with black leather, front seats look pretty cracked and stretched out. After market stereo with really ugly door speakers. Engine is good with recent major work done like a partial rebuild at 100,000 miles by BMW shop, $3000 with reciepts. Unknown suspension maintainance. Momo steering wheel. No performance mods. Needs A/C compressor. Sellar is second owner, intelectual type. Pervious owner was his friend, car spent first 10 years in Illinois but car is now in AZ.
    What would be a good price on this car?
    Any thing else I should look for or ask?
    Oh yeah , he swore the car was never in an accident but when I had him check the VIN's he found 1 dot-r on front R 1/4 panel. He thinks it "must have happened while in transport from germany" funny.
    Please help.

    honestly i think u got a good deal (if its running ok) and free of rust, yep u got a good deal, i didnt see it yet, lol... but an e30 m3 rules! anywhere, anytime, anyhow...

    I dont think thats too bad, those cars once over 100K can be worth whatever someone will pay. THe low mileage cars are going in the mid to upper 20's in perfect shape, so considering that if the car is straight you did ok and should enjoy it.

    Interior is in crappy shape. The good thing is, it's an easy as hell fix. DIY or find a local shop to spruce it up. That's an awesome car. The price was deffinately right!!!!

    Thx man, thats what i was thinking. I am planning on getting some leatherique,shampooing the carpets, new floor mats etc. I will have it on saturday! cant wait.
