i got home ok.....about 5 hours ago....now i just need to tend to a couple issues and it will be a sweet car to drive

I needed to get back down to one car.
I had 4 cars (not including my wive's) in my driveway when the idea hit me: "What purpose do all these cars serve?"

First out the door was the old '79 silverado I had for 11 years.
Next was the '86 535i
Then the '03 Lightning
Finally, the "hatchback of doom" had it's ticket called.

Now I have 1 car (all-around car might I add), and the wifey has her car. You know...a reasonable stable of cars for a 2-person household.

I miss the Lightning just as much as the Hatch.

car is great, but I blew the clutch already. Its sitting at a shop a few miles down the road. I have to get another one

Sorry about your misfortunes, Evan. Good thing it was only the clutch and not engine related. I just knew that it couldn't be the engine....it has been nothing but rock solid. Might as well have them throw in that new carrier bearing (center support bearing) while they have the driveshaft down.
