where to get keys cut for non immobiliser cars

i have a early production 95 M3 production date of 09/94 i beleive and i had afirend that works at bmw look at the ignition key solonoid and he says that my car doesnt have the immobilier since there is no plastic thich ring aroudn the key cylinder... he sayd bmw doesnt cut keys they order them so he couldnt tell me where to get a key cut.

i only have 1 key for my car and need another badly i have the title to my car but am cluelsee wher to go that cal sell me a replacement key.. any help?

the key is laser cut and has to be ordered at a bmw dealership. just bring in your title and id to a dealer to show that you are the owner and they will order you a key from bmw. cost is around $40.
