Weird dim instrument panel...

On my 95 I have a weird instrument panel dimness that only affects certain areas of the lighted display. On the speedometer, the area around the "100 MPH" marker is dim. On the tachometer, "4000RPM" marker was coming up dim.

I checked the Bentley to see if there was one bulb that lights these two areas, but it says that there are three bulbs, all of which seem to be fairly far away from the dim areas.

Anybody else heard of this? What can I do to fix this?
