Nothing much to see...just an aluminum underpanel going back to the front sway bar and a kromer kraft exhaust heading out the backOriginally Posted by bähnstormer
Thats an understatement.......especially since the car weighs in at 2400lbsOriginally Posted by widebody_bimmer

I think the stock e36 M3 front would of looked better but overall your car is insane!
I'm also assuming looks aren't your primary concern with this car.
Great job man.
The work and quality of the car shows even through pictures.
Enjoy beating it up on the track.
Very nice, it will now be invinceable.
Btw, how do you like the AP brake set-up?
THat thing is sick except for the e46 bumper, but whatever...

I love everything about the car expect the wing.
Can't you go with PTG style wing to get the same results that you get with the wing you have now?
The Pennon wing is much better that the PTG style wing. In fact my dad has the PTG style wing on his racecar and it isnt anywhere as nice as the Pennon wing. In fact, Jon Holder (the red and black widebody you posted a pic of) changed his rear wing to a style similar to mine from the PTG style. These single element wings produce more downforce and create less drag.
As far as the front bumper the reason it is that style is because its lighter than the stock e36 and it has the CF lip that fits perfectly and works great with the underpanel.
The AP brakes are phenomenal.......I would never ever run another brake setup. In fact I have the same 6-piston kit on the streetcar, except they are powdercoated red.
Thanks for the comments everyone!!!

The wing on the car is not your typical ricer wing you see on hondas. It is made by Pennon Composites who ranks up there w/ Crawford Composites who makes the wings for PTG. Like my brother said, these single elements create huge amounts of downforce with very little drag. PTG ran the wing they did on the E36 M3 GTRs because it was part of the rules. You wont find many teams running wings such as PTG use to run. You'll see all over Speed WC GT, Grand Am, and ALMS that many teams are running similar wings. Must mean something...Originally Posted by M-crazy
///M3Matt & m3ltw98 thanks for the carification..i just didn't know that PTG didn't produce the same down force.
From the looks of it it does look similar to those Honda wings..but in any case all the rules are thrown out when it comes to the race track.
You learn something new every day
No problem....unlike those huge rear spoilers on front wheel drive hondas (always found that ironic) this wing is very functional
are you going to finish painting it? looks like you have several cosmetic mods but no paint on the body kit.
looks nice overall though, gook luck with it.
