Finally got the Z3 back from having it's service, and got the new wheels put on at the weekend.
They are 17" BSA 264's with 225/45R17 Sumitomo tires on them.
I wanted bigger, but it's my wifes daily driver, and I didn't want to compromise her ride. She loves the new look and so do I.
They fit perfectly and really fill out the arches now, and they kinda look OEM, but they aren't. They look like they go with the flow of the car, and kinda make the car look a little 'newer' than the 16" multispoke OEM rims did.
What do you think?
And some more...
And another...
And the arch...
Those are nice man! Unique!

to be honest, I didn't like them at all when you posted pics of them off the car, but installed they look great!

hooooooooot!!!!
rare design and it complements the color of your car very nicely.
Never seen them before, looks pretty good.
very nice! how much were they?
They are quite nice looking - I saw them on an old 1.9 Z3 on a used car lot a couple years ago - that car parks in my work building now so see it around quite a lot. Here's a pic of it. I looked into them at the time - they were avilable in a variety of finishes (chrome, silver, stainless) and defnitely quite cheap.
Thanks for all the compliments!
We were after something quite contemporary, to replace the OEM rims we had, that the previous owner had chewed up, (and they were a pain in the @$$ to clean) and stumbled across these.
We got a great deal on them, or I think so anyways... $699 with tires shipped to my door.
Cost another $20 to get the BMW emblems to fit the centres and that is it.
Job done!
And I can't believe Azuma that you found a Z3 with them on... knocks the 'uniqueness' down a point I guess!!! At least ours is the 2.8 and not the 1.9!!!
I hear ya, you wouldn't believe how many rims I photoshopped onto the car before choosing!Originally Posted by IslandS52

Nice rims! Tires aren't too bad either, except the one's I had wore out in about 5K miles.

They look good, they remind me of a stock GM wheel though, off which car I cannot recollect at this time.
The package was a great price. Personally I am fearful of BSA though, when I worked at a shop we ordered quite a bit as we were getting the 18's wholesale for 70 something locally and selling them for a nice profit. Turns out that the first customer who took the wheels to get tires mounted and balanced on them couldn't. It seems that they were infact not quite 18's, and not quite 17's; but somewhere inbetween. Needless to say every single one we ordered was sent back.

that second picture makes them look sooo good. nice plate haha
Strangely enough, I feel the same everytime I see a LHD ... wacky AmericansOriginally Posted by JoeZ
