New Dyno OBDII with HFM and custom AA software

Hey guys went to the dyno yesterday since I got my software redone after my previous DME died. Its custom software by AA and I also threw in my 3.5" HFM. Mods on this dyno are:
    3.5"Ecis Cai
    Euro HFM
    M50 Manifold
    Stromung Exhaust
    AA Custom Software

Here is a video if anyone wants to see it as well Dyno Video
I did notice when I got home that for their SAE correction they had some info wrong. Altitude was at 4500 vs 600 actual. Humidity was also at 20% vs 45% actual and I think temp was 79 which was close enough. How much of a difference would this make? Dynojets software would not let me change these numbers.

    Max Power 238hp/224tq

Here is my before/after Dyno same shop.
    Before mods were
    3" Ecis CAI
    AA gen 3 exhaust
    m50 manifold

here is my previous software dyno vs new software
Previous AA software did not have the hfm and I also had a URI crank pulley on the car. I no longer have the crank pulley on my car.

damn those are some good numbers. I hope mine are as good....what do you guys think my numbers will be? I have dinan stg. 5 software, dinan cai, dinan bbtb, 3.5 hfm, schrick intake manifold, UUC UDP's, green gizmo, and AA gen 3 exhaust.

M50 was a great mod. I was hoping for 240 but close enough. I don't think i'll use that shop anymore. If anyone sets up a dynoday at that Speedtek shop I migh throw on my crank pulley and see if it shows any gains this time

With those mods some people have made up to 245. I would take a guess at 235-240

Great numbers Ray... looks like the euro HFM is making you pull harder up top. Did Eurospeed take care of you on the SW.. finally ? Also, why did u take off the CP.. just curious? I also noticed that their climate numbers were jacked up during my run.

BTW, when r we going to the strip ... let's set up a date and get a few people!

There have been a few people that showed gains if they have the m50 to go with it. Its not much around 2-3 hp if that. I got one cheap so I threw it on.

Wow very strong numbers what just those mods.....see what proper tuning can do to a car.

What were your stock baseline numbers?

    Quick Question(s),
How Much did the software run you,
I have the same setup (mods) minus the 3.5 hfm ( but I got it, I just need to throw it on)
and does AA have your setup on file so I could just get it from them? (like your dyno numbers) or how custom is it

I unfortunately never got a baseline.

I'm in the the software an insane amount of money because of a deal gone wrong with Eurospeed. It should cost you around $450 for what I have. They probably have it on file but you should get a dyno and send it along with your DME if you get software.

So did anyone have any ideas if the wrong altitude in the SAE correction would change my numbers?

My car pulls 236 on that same dyno. Same mods, but no 3.5" hfm and software. I'm not sure software is all its cracked up to be. His car did have much improved throttle responce, and what *felt* like some better midrange torque.

I called the shop today and they said they couldn't change it and that if I looked at the "uncorrected" numbers instead it should be at 600ft altitude

Here is an explanation I got from my email to dynojet yesterday about the altitude. Makes sense.

That value has zero impact on your corrected horsepower. The dyno collects
ABSOLUTE pressure, and TEMPERATURE as well as HUMIDITY (water vapor
pressure) at the precise moment that the dyno operator starts the run, that
data is married to the dyno drum info and these 3 factors are used in the
conditions correction equation(s). The dyno operator can adjust the
'altitude' to 20,000 feet or sea level and it will have no effect on the
    ABSOLUTE atmospheric pressure reading.
There is no doubt that higher altitude will generally have less pressure,
however unless your dyno operator connected your hardware stack to a
balloon, altitude will not have a bearing on what Absolute Pressure is
present the moment you are dyno testing your car. Think of it this way, if
we solely relied on Altitude, and if you were at Miami Beach during a
hurricane (or extreme low pressure situation) your pressure would be
equivalent to say Denver Colorado. The 4500 feet number is from Montana,
where our dynos are built and that number is the default. Some dyno owners
change that value and some do not. It will not affect your horsepower.
Display 'Conditions' on your dyno graph and you can view the Pressure, Temp.
and Humidity and also the correction factor (CF=1.06 for example). This
correction factor is what you want to pay attention to. And you can take
note of how changes in pressure, temperature and humidity will affect the
    Correction Factor. Hope this helps.

I would think that your HP are a bit higher than they should be. 4500 feet is a large compensation so is 45% humidity. I would have them give you another free dyno with that much of a screw up.

From another email with dynojet it the dyno measures the humidty /temp so that is right. I was thinking it was more than that. The altitude has no impact on the dyno. Next time I dyno i'll probably do it at speedtek anyways. I want to see what kind of numbers i'll see if I add my crank pulley to the mix.

Did the shop comment on your a/f ratio? Does anybody know of an electrical mod that will allow adjustments to correct a/f ratios? I'm not talking about an entire computer or chip, but an in car electrical mod that you can install like some of the Jap tuners.

those A/R ratios look way off in the mid range. usually its supposed to get progressively get more rich and then level off, not rich in middle than leaner up top. just a suggestion.

    nice numbers!

i hope to get the same type results after i put my m50 manifold, 3.5" HFM, CAI, and AA software on. only thing different in your setup is the exhaust. seeing your numbers has got me all excited

Yeah those are some nice numbers.

Isnt 13:1 AFR the best performance gains. It looks like you are running way too rich.

I know on FI cars, its suppose to be 12:1 AFR, but on a NA car, it is suppose to be at 13:1. I can see you gain more power in the mid if you can lean out the mid to 13:1 AFR.

Is that what we'll be able to do with my ride guc? I can't wait.

And you might want try an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I am installing mine this week because i am running to lean. Probaby from the combination of intake, m50 manifold, acs delete, and the dinan high flow throttle body. We'll find out later this week.
