Curious what the turbo S52's (350-450whp) are getting for fuel mileage as of lately? I know I shouldn't care but I am just wondering what to expect how it will do when im not beating on it.

2.79 rearend though.
nice!
Omer I saw your name in the thread preview and thought "oh HIS reply should be interesting!" lol That's pretty good considering the power you're making. I gotta get another ride from you one of these days...last time was just a 1st-2nd gear quickie about 200whp ago!

I'm boosting around all over the place, and am going through the gas. I couldn't give you exact mpg numbers but off boost its about the same. Maybe I'm just getting used to it, but the gas trigger is being constantly pulled.
TEC-3R, T4 GT40, WISECO, EAGLE, SUPERTECH, O-RING'D "FRANKENSTEIN" STROKER.
Prob about the same gas mileage is used, I figure. The reason is more gas to get up hills and such in a NA car. And with boost, lighter foot+more power=Same gas, I guess.
that's crazy! I average about 240-260 city and 320 highway....NA.Originally Posted by Bassmaster

Are you guys assuming same fuel tank volume? Mine is 13.5 gal.Originally Posted by themadhatter

That's pretty good, I get low 20's on the interstate, but the with the car sitting at 4000 for hours on end it doesn't really get good MPG, Mine's N/A.Originally Posted by OZ3M

Makes sense w/ the turbos though. Your re-using exhaust gas and converting it back into energy for the engine, thus making it more efficient ASSUMING you drive w/ a normal foot.

perhaps but even 3 gallons shy, that's still over 100 miles less range. still beautiful cars either way you look at it.Originally Posted by OZ3M

About 150 miles per tank.
I think some of the milage could be contributed to the larger gas tank? The other could be the tec III....Im running it a little leaner in the cruising non boosted zones... its around 15:1 TO 15:5 A/F ratio'sOriginally Posted by themadhatter

I get 19-20 mpg in the city, traffic driving and 25-26 mpg on highway trips. It is not much different than stock. That i moderately boosting. I drove the car hard all week this week as my last hoorah with it and I still got over 18 mpg in the city alone.
Is it finally sold Mike?

If you aren't breaking 300 miles per tank, you should definitely check something. Fuel filter, air filter, O2 sensor. I saw an increase of about 30-50 miles per tank after changing my air filter and O2 sensor. I can always break 300, I usually hit about 320-340 street and can break 400 on the Freeway. I drive semi-agressive. I'm not WOT every chance I get, but any onramps or bridge underpasses, definitely.Originally Posted by jasonknezo

My car says im gettin 23mpg which is bullshit I feel like im gettin 14, with AA SC..... on 19" wheels.
Does anyone know if the ~$300 Dinan control module that corrects the OBC will work with higher power/bigger injector setups than an 8psi SC? I'd like to keep the fuel consumption features accurate if possible.
I'd assume thats your problem Excidium - the OBC is no longer calibrated properly.
