Anything I should do special before taking M3 on 1000 mile road trip?...

I changed the oil/filter, new fuel filter and O2 sensor, cleaned the K&N cone filter, new wheels mounted today so they will be balanced and ready to go. Is there anything else I should check out before driving from Kansas City to Little Rock?

Check out your underpanel. Make sure it's attached well. Many hours of highway speed will loosen things up. I was fortunate to catch mine before it was too late. You don't want that thing to come off at 65MPH. Jay

From wannabe to has been in a few short years..... the older I get, the faster I was

Check coolant level, tire pressure, windshield washer fluid ( bugs, rain ), wiper blades, lights( ie fogs, high and low beam, brakes), Brakes and A/C. Thats all I can think of right now.
    Have a good trip!

    You'll have fun.

I just bought my M about 2 months ago. Got it in Baltimore, MD, and I live in Omaha, NE. I "wasted" 1,200 miles in the first 2 days I owned the car

I recently did a 1000 mile road trip in one day and the car was fine.
One suggestion - don't worry about it
Get a radar detector for the trip

    Just cause you can:

    1. Rain-x on the front & rear windows. Helps keep bug guts from sticking (so you can wash at gas stations during fillups).

    2. Wash/wax the car. Makes it easier to get all the road grime / bugs off the car when the trip is over.

basic fluids, belts, tires check and you should be good to go.

    Good info has already been provided, but let me add the following (in no particular order) for a pleasant good sized road trip;

    Several spare CD magazines, full
Properly stocked cooler (water, soda, ice tea, etc and snacks, damp cloths)
    Insurance card, registration, etc.
Credit card with room to use
    Cash
    Cell phone
    Camera, lenses, etc.
    Maps
    Sunglasses
    A compatible companion
    Flashlight with good batteries
A few spare quarts of oil
    A gallon of water
    Basic tool kit
    Ductape
