Nice! Just a few questions. Where did you get your bulbs? What type are they so others know what to buy? And lastly, do you have any before and after pics of the interior lighting as a whole versus just single lights?

Well you convinced me. I'm going to do this now . Thanks for the pics and the link. That sounds like a fair price.

You mentioned you need 6 to do the whole interior. Did you do the trunk too since you included the pic? I haven't checked myself, but would you need 7 to do the interior cabin and trunk?

your interior looks great! I also have different interior bulbs, but went with the xenon ones from m3motorwerks.com. Looks much more sleek than the gross orange color.

I'm interested to do blue or red just in the footwells....

Thanks, I didn't even notice the # of LED's was different.

Has anyone successfullly installed ambient lighting such as the E39/E46 etc. Just a soft glow red/orange for the footwell and center console? I havent looked at the overhead roof stuff yet to see if some LED's could be recessed and mounted like the E39. I would also like to do adjustable dimmer on the ambient stuff.

How bright are these LED's, say like 50% brighter than stock?

So from the video it looks like your lights still dim at the same rate as the factory bulbs, or do they cut out faster due to the low current draw?

Wow this is an old thread.

Why did they stop selling the led lights? I bought mine a while ago from bimmian. Im going to have to check and see if I got the 9 LEDs. I think mine only have 4 LEDs.

BTW when I put them in the rear license plate they made my obc throw a "bulb failure" code, so I just kept the stock lights there.

I noticed Bimmian.com was VERY expensive. I believe I paid something like $40-50 for a 13 or 14 bulb set, shipped. There was a seller on eBay who sold this kit. A few members also got the same "deal".
