Ron Styger's jack stands

Anyone using Ron Stygers jacks stands?

Are the worth $220 a set, or is there a more economical alternative that reduces the risk the car will slide off the stands.

I talked to him about a month ago concerning the stands. Keep in mind there are two styles on the webpage. Give him an e-mail and I'm sure he'll help you out.

Or, look into Griots Garage jackstands.

Both are high quality.

Expensive jackstands, but its tough to put a price on safety for both the yourself and the car.
