Mopac carries the brand of Dye I used. About $6 something a can. Lordco carries another brand for like $11 a can. I used VHT Satin Black
Looks great man.

So does anybody know if this will work on the fake leather seats? I want to do a two tone job on my seats and just wanted to know if it would look decent. And how long does the dye last? Does it eventually fade?
It will work on fake leather yes. And it hasn't faded yet on my car, and it sees alot of sun. I've had dye on it for 4 months now on some parts maybe.. It doesn't rub off either.
so what happened with the accident

Car will not be totalled, its getting fixed now. Gettign some aftermarket parts though which will be nice..
Found this while searching for some interior options and was wondering how the dye was holding up?

This stuff looks like fun. I was just thinking today "I need to treat my leather soon"
My car has black pannels and tan interior. Tan mats and carpets.
I wouldn't mind changing my leather color to all black, would look sick as shit. This would work right? I would buy Black mats too.
I drive a Montreal Blue 325i. Dove leather or black would look good. Any ideas on colors
Hey, People
How do you think RED seat bolsters would look on hellrot car?
Check out this link for the colors they have:

Nothing you can do to cloth eh?
I thought CJ got rid of his car?
Not exactly sure...
Dye is holding up well, I've touched up some small part of my door panel, but the rest is mint..
I haven't got rid of the car YET.. still for sale
Good to hear its holding up well, another question though, did you ever dye the dash and if you did, any updated pics of that?

I did dye the dash, turned out well, cept the edges of the dash, near the windshield that were facing away from me, are still a little not covered, I need to remove the dash completely, or the windshield.. and I'm too lazy.
Alright, I was wondering how the edges would turn out. Last question I think, when you applied the dye, did you have to do it so everything was even, or could you overlap a bit and not have any streaking?

I want to know if you ever got the seat done to the Mondena color. ,mmmmmm me like.
Can you please take a pic of the front and back of the can of dye your using, if you still got it. I do not want to purchase a different color and expect to have similiar results like your.
What would you have done about the headliner, pilers and carpeting?
Got any pics of stock black interior, is it all black or is it balck and greay on the doors? Would all black look good? TIA
hehe.. Good find you answered my prayers to my cracked leather.. hahaha.. i am goin to pick me up a couple bottles anjyone know if i can pick this dye up anywhere at pep boys, or autozone ? if not then i will order from the links posted.. thanks again :
Seems like no one in the states (retailer at least) carries the product. I'll also have to order online but do not know how long shipping wil take.
wow, this seems really interesting.....i would LOVE to dye the middle section of my seats red and part of the door pannels and maybe a few more pieces inside, to give it that two tone look! ok, i have a 93 325is with all black interior.....i was wondering if i used red, will it be all nice and bright? also, im not sure if i have real leather or not...does it matter? thanks
