As I said in another post a long time ago, this thread is about your journey that includes your Six. Since I'm the active mod on this subforum, please consider this official sanction to keep us posted with what is going on, whether directly or indirectly Shark-related.
Keep the projects moving, and post often!
To all my friends, and new comers who may see this thread. I am sorry that I have been absent for so many years. I love you all, and especially all the comments you have posted.
I hope to post an update soon.

It isn't the end that counts, it's the journey. 12 years on my restoration and we just got it running several months ago. My engine is more than a bit "warmed" up and to hear the burble of a good cam at idle made it all very worth it. 4-5 mechanical bugaboos that didn't restore right and have to be gone through again and it's just a matter of hanging the trim on and touching up the various scratches the shop gremlins provided. Maybe I will get to ride it within the next 6 months
Bill, if you are still looking for the proper under bumper fog lights, I have a mint pair with new lenses I can be talked out of!!

Just read through your thread, it's awesome! Ignore the haters, as my kids love to say. It'll get done sooner or later. One of the best things about saving an old car from oblivion is the struggle. It takes time to do it right, but the effort is what makes the result worthwhile. Too many people get it backwards.
Best of luck! The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; 'tis dearness only that gives everything its value.
Save the manuals!
