    Question

on a 94 325is? 235-40-17 is smaller in overall diameter than the stock 205-60/15, that is why I was considering the 45 series tire.

Which is a better sized tire for the plus 2 upgrade?

The car will not be lowered.

    Thanks
    Chris K.

i believe u're suppose to run 235/40/17 tires....

someone correct me... cuz on 18s, when you run 235s, it should be 235/35/18s...

so i believe you should run 235/40/17

    good luck.

45 series tires with my 17's gave me same diameter as stock 15's.

On 17x8 (Im assuming the width :p ), 235/40 tires are common, however, Ive also seen them with 235/45 tires. Though a tire may state a certain size it is often plus or minus some mm. 235/40 tires are an itsy bitsy bit smaller than overall stock wheel diameter, and 235/45 are a bit bigger than overall stock wheel diameter. Personally, Id go with the 235/40s... but whatever floats your boat will do .
