Another "My New Dyno Results" thread.

Just had the car dynoed yesterday with a bunch of the NE people. Most S50's and S52's with somewhat similar mods put down an average 225whp / 230torque. But after my run I could not help my mouth from dropping to the floor:

So far, I am happy with the results and have been smiling since.

I don't want to bust your bubble, but you are posting raw uncorrected numbers. Using the data on your plot, the SAE correction factor is about 0.94....which brings you down to about 213 rwhp. Also, your smoothing factor is set to 0.....usually most people report with an SF set to 3, which will bring your numbers down a little more.

Well, you can't determine anything unless he tells you what mods he has.

yes those are raw numbers I posted. Max run at 233.68whp / 240.16wtq. SAE corrected numbers should be about 219.65whp & 225.75wtq. The comparisons I was referring to were also uncorrected numbers from the other S50/S52's which were comparatively lower than mine. I do not have their raw data thus converting to SAE values for comparison is non applicable.

All dyno runs for the day have been raw numbers without smoothing.

You know how you reply sometimes and it doesn't post - just goes away into the ether?

Maybe there's a 15 year lag in the system?

So my old dyno plot shows the air temp, pressure, humidity and a correction factor at the bottom. Does that mean the correction factor has been applied to my plot or that if I wanted corrected numbers, thats the correction I would use.

The smoothing which has clearly been applied is listed up at the top of the graph. Thats what makes me wonder if the correction has been applied or not since its just listed with the atmospheric info.

If it says SAE or STD it is corrected to that standard. STD numbers are about 2.5% higher than SAE.
