its universal, it will work with the right bolts for the back of the engine.

Should work, they are pretty standard. The back should adjust so you can bolt almost any engine where the tranny/bell housing would bolt on.

thats what i wanted to hear!

i was just affraid that with my luck, i'd buy it, and it wouldn't even be close to bolting up correct, or that bmw engines require a "special" bolt pattern when using an engine stand

HF has a good return policy so even if it didn't work, let them know and they'll take it back.

We've used harbor freight in my shop before. While they price everything really cheap, which is good, I don't trust them at all. Their stuff breaks, and is poorly made. My opinion.

    Engine Stand

The arms are quite adjustable--up, down, side-to-side, all around. They will fit any engine. You just have to provide the correct bolts. Sometimes the bolts from the bell-housing are long enough but more than likely, they're not. Measure the thickness of the arm where the bolts go through and add about an inch to an inch and a half. If you buy bolts too long, stack up washers under the head to make fit. Engine stands make engine work MUCH easier!
