WTB: 16 or 17 inch E36 wheel set

Trying this again...have a few leads, but not quite what I want exactly. Looking to buy early next week.

What I want SPECIFICALLY are these:

I'm entertaining other BBS/look wheels, and wheels that look better than 15" bottle caps. Need to have tires that can handle another 3000 miles so that I have time to budget new tires. Looking for 16 or 17 inchers, no 18's or chrome unless you're practically giving them away.

Budget is $700, but I need to stay as much under that as possible.

Roads in my area make 18's a bit too big (not enough tire)...17's are pushing it. Plus I can't budget new tires as easily.

Thanks for the heads up, though!

I saw those and they're tempting, actually. You don't have any tires to fit them?

Nope.. they were pretty worn so I had them dismounted. But there are plenty of places locally that will have used 225/50/16s with good tread for about $120-$140 mounted and balanced.

I have the same wheels as torquey does but with Michelin tires on them. The tires are good for another 10k miles or so. Let me know if you are interested in them. I give you a good deal.

    elaborate: "slightly bent"

However, I need a set of tires. Your contours plus tires would put me over my budget...

sorry bro. i thought you meant your budget was $700 before the tires.

"slightly bent" from wonderful indiana roads. i took pics of them wheels, can't see the bends/imperfections at all.
