Washer? on top of strut is broken...

Ive attached a pic of the top of my right strut tower.
Ive searched in bimmerparts etc and catn find this part....
Its the washer kinda part right under the nut on top of the strut,
has the rubber gasket.
I have no idea how long it has been this way cause I usually dont take off the dust caps....

I suspect that's going to be a part that you'll need to get from a dealer.

Doesn't seem like that major of a part to be a dealer only part...

It wouldn't be how major a part it so much as it would be the frequency that it is needed. Most of the on-line parts houses tend to stock only those parts that are frequently the object of a DIY'er.

I see what you mean..
It just looks like something that would be replaced more often than a dealer only part, the reason I say this is that it has a rubber bushing of some sort around the outside of it...its not just a washer.
