Hello gents. My formal introduction can be found here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=603486, but that's the long version.
Here's the abridged version: I had a '94 Supra Turbo for two years. I just sold it to make a condo more affordable, and 4 days ago I picked up an E36 M3 w/143K for my toy. I plan to get a T-61/63 Supra after I get my BS, but I will enjoy the M in the meantime. I love the road course. I hate drag racing, dyno challenges and NASCAR with a healthy passion.
I've been on the road course three times, although I have yet to experience the M3's agility on-track. I need to get into the shop and replace a few things in the suspension, but I plan to attend a track day on October 22nd, weather permitting.
I don't see myself ever joining any racing clubs as I just like to get out and drive the shit out of my car. I don't see any appeal in wheel to wheel racing.
Other than that, I hope to meet some of you guys at meets or track days, and I'm glad to be part of the Bimmer community.

Americans are consumed by desires to buy rubbish we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like.
Speak wisdom to a fool and he'll think you have no sense at all.
Hey all,
Forums generally irritate me ... but this particular one seems okay. Well, except for a few 'tards, but I'll deal.

One time trial at LRP back in '99 started this addiction.
Got into dodging cones, but left due to too much down time between runs.
Have driven an e36 M3, e30 318is, 1.9L Z3, Z3 M Coupe and a M3/4 at LRP, WGI and SPR.
Have given up all other interests (except family) to focus on HPDE track driving.

Vehicle of choice for track activity: '89 325is.
Currently an HPDE/school whore with occasional NASA TT appearences at tracks that I'm more comfortable with in TTE. Started this nonsense off around 98-99 with the usual cone dodging stuff, kind of half assed it until around 2003 when I decided that I really wanted to get real. Been doing mostly track stuff, with the intentions of getting in to Spec E30/KP/KS maybe. I'm about a hair away from pulling the trigger on a conversion van as a tow rig to complete the slippery slide.

New to AutoX and BMW ownership
Hey there, new to the forum.
Looking at purchasing an E36 M3 very soon, converting from Honda's...
Anyway, been auto-xing for over 10 years, road racing for 5+, some IT, Forumla Ford, but most time spent in a GT1 Corvette, still very active racing this car.
I instruct with BMWCC and I am looking forward to tracking my own M3 when I get one.
