I'm a cone dodger for the time being. I have a nice M3/4 that is my daily driver/Auto-x car. It's stock because I'm in college. I plan on making the M3 a track rat/Auto-x strictly when I graduate.

New to this forum. After saving up over a few years, bought my 95 M3 this spring and autocrossed it this year. I ran a friend's 98 Jetta in FSP last year a few times. Restored cars in high school have always had my head under a hood or two. I'm impressed with this thread and hope to give as well as get advice.

I have an 88 M6 which is a garage queen because I have too much fun with my 85 325es at HPDEs and Solo Sprint. I used to do a lot of AutoX and want to get back into Cone dodging this year, maybe even heading to some SCCA events.
My E30 is a little modified (M50 .... cage, etc ....)

I have a '96 318ti with an S50 installed with all the normal go-fast bolt ons. I do 4-6 DE's a year and I do local ax'in since '05. The car runs in XP for Solo, and I'm going to make a legit attempt to make a Tour event + Nationals in '09.
Hey Bimmerheads, I'm Mark. I started doing HPDE's last century in a 535is. Then I moved to an E30 M3. That car became a J-stock car in BMW club racing. Unfortunately, I strayed away from the track for a few years.
Since mid-2008, I've been getting familiar with a new car, an IP E36 M3 that I bought from another racer. I'm on the verge of getting my license renewed, and plan to resume racing later this year.
hey Guys! I'm Brian Fowler- I own a '89 "328is" I use for HPDEs and most of my daily driving and a beater '84 318i that will be a Spec E30 one day if the rust demons don't get it first!
if you have any questions about E30 related stuff, let me know... i'll pretend like I know the answer!

Been attending STUSA DEs for the last 3 years, and got my first taste of wheel to wheel last December (and I'm addicted). This year I went and joined a SCCA school and got my permit this past Sunday at WSIR.

My name is Rich Siegman, my occupation is technician / fabricator. If I can be of any assistance to anyone, Dinan components etc. feel free to email me. I have been meaning to get to this a while back. I have missed a couple of the BMWCCA events due to work conflicts with PCoA schedule. Best email adress is Rich@Atspeedmotorsports.com

Been trolling this section since I joined, read a lot more than I post. Did large amounts of street racing when I was a bit younger in the Santa Cruz Mountains (Bay Area), then crashed. Realized street racing was the dumbest most selfish thing you could do... and have been working my way into the safer, smarter, and infinitely more rewarding HPDE world one step at a time. Looking for seat time whenever and wherever I can get it.
The car is a pretty clean example of the 328is, putting all the work into it myself... top to bottom. If you put yourself into something, chances are you'll think twice before you do something stupid with it. So far I've dabbled locally at Marina (Monterey) and Buttonwillow. Intend to finish the beamer as an occasional track toy and DD, and pick up a '94 Miata to turbo as my dedicated track rat due to financial restrictions (Miatas are cheaper). Heart and soul will be a BMW fanboy forever, though.

new to BMW's, and really racing cars in general.
been autocrossing my 08' WRX this last year here in local events. It's mildly prepped for D-stock. I bought the 325is when I realized that the cheapest adjustable shocks available for the WRX cost about what I paid for the 325.
I'm going to take my time and build up a good motor, Tranny, and diff for the car , if I can, and probably try to run in DSP. Regardless of how bad I am, I'm planning on attending nationals next year and a tour event or two.
I work full time 3rd shift as a network analyst for a celltower Backhaul provider, and go to school full time, working on my BBA in management during the day at Texas State. Wife, two rugratz, dog, cat. That's me in a nutshell.
Racing keeps me sane, somewhat so, at least.
Glad to be here!
This is my first year doing HPDE's, managed 30 days this season even though my first event wasn't until June ... can you say "bit by the track bug"?

Hi All!
Real name: Josh McDonough
I've been auto-xing for about 5-6 years and have done a few track days as well. Most of my seat time was in a mildly prepped 92 camaro, but now I'm in a 318ti. I lost 700lbs and 200hp in the process...I don't know if it was a good trade, but now I'm trying to learn to be fast in this car.
I'm prepping it to be competitive locally in STX, on a grad student budget
