Many of you may remember the pictures I had taken half way through my leathermagic dye job ... moving my TORE UP luxo seats from "champagne" to E30 M3 red ... Here we are in the car (Excuse the dusty dirty car ... it's been bad weather and I'm mid-stream in stereo and interior upgrades) ...
Before ........
After .......
Sorry to the few Champagne guys ... I had to, the seats were in terrrrrrible shape as you can see
But what does everyone think?
The quality is great as far as feel and look, but if you have deep cracks a few weeks after finishing the finish will crack in those same spots ... so get crack filler or be ready to touch up...
I sold this car after a very lengthy restoration, but it's just too pretty to remove from my sig.
looks damn nice...i always loved the red interior on the e30 m3

Go there and see if the links work ... I'm at a disadvantage because the pics are loaded from my computer ... so they work for me, but obviously no one else

Dude that does look sick, So you have a Cosmos 95 M3 with Tan Interior or Dove? Or are those sports seats from a 3 series? You used Leatherique Dye? Where did you buy and how much? Can you get different colors?
Thanks man

Cosmos 95 luxo package ... Champagne leather ... only came in a VERY FEW 95 lux package M3s. I think maybe 3 or 4 guys on the board, less me now because I changed it. I used leather magic, cheaper -- and from my experience, a better product. You also don't pay extra for color matching because they use BMW spec color codes. They say if you have for example dove, and you want to redo a seat -- it will look just the same as dove. I paid about $75 for all the kit and I have some stuff left over

so I could use the red they use in the M/Z3 roadster/coupe? Do you have a website or store name?

looks awesome, one thing though. you MUST lose that wood trim, totally out of place now. It would look tool if you could somehow tint the wood black, or i've seen guys sand down the varnish off the pieces and paint them black. that would be nice as well.
to each their own. i purposely spec'd my lux m3 BECAUSE of the wood. wood looks much better than the cheesy fake carbon fiber "look" or plastic.
i suspect you would not be a fan of the new "mariner" interior package for z4's....
get rid of the wood now.
it looks way more sporty.
I love the wood -- nothing against it, it's just so damn hard to keep clean ... Away at school I have little time to detail the interior ... my old M3 had the black plastic and all I had to do was take a rag and wipe it down, good as new ... My wood door pulls are also starting to look seriously rough, but no doubt if it was still primo condition it's certainly very classy

no, i have nothing against the wood. With the champagne interior it looks awesome, even with a black interior. I'm just saying that now with the racy red look the wood is really out of place. maybe if the would was a different shade or something... i dunno, just my opinion.
ditto, lose the wood and the red will look a lot better
Who's the chick?
Girlfriend ... it's a 3 year old picture ... so she doesn't look 18 anymore

Man red looks cool with the black..The wood looks bad..how about pulling all the wood out and painting it silver. Someone on the boards did there car and it looked super cool! You can get some pretty good silver paint's maybe even some semi gloss would look cool

Im one of the unfortunate few that has the same color combo as you.... the cosmos with lux champagne interior.. Did you have to do any prep work before applying the dye such as some sort of cleaner? And how long did it take to dry?
