    Passenger Airbag Removal

    First...
I'm not starting this thread to spark a safety debate.

I just wanna know if anyone has comepletely removed the passenger
airbag and how to go about doing it.
I have seen all the threads about changing out the steering wheel.
I havn't seen write ups on the passenger side.

You have to remove the dash then it's pretty easy from there. It's bolted to a cross-member underneath the dash which you just take out a few bolts and unhook some electrical stuff.

A buddy of mine took it out and put in his cd changer there and put some fiberglass over it.

    Now what?

So I took out the passenger side...
    Piece of cake.
Then went to remove the drivers side...
    ...
    ?
It appears that it is actually part of the steering wheel cover.
Am I correct in assuming this?
It said on the contraption "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE"
    So I didn't.
Where can I go from here?
