    Have: 1987 E30
Got: BBS RS 15x7 et38 (this offset is for iX) + 1/4" (11.5mm) Spacer.

I assume I'm cutting it pretty close on staying inside the fender well. BMWs 15x7 basketweave is et30. Would using an 8mm spacer make my RSs equal the measurement of the basketweave? Or, am I relatively safe with the 11.5mm spacer?

    Thanks.

    rear - 17x9 245/40 offset +45

I want to buy 2 rear rims and tires to put up front, will they fit?

i am actually going to rotate my staggered wheels (lol) at my work this saturday and see how they fit but i was curious of your opinion.

I would say you would need to run maybe a spacer and roll the fender lips. It has been done though with the work I mentioned.

They will not fit your car without drilling the center bore out. The center bore on your car is bigger in diameter.

There should not be any rubbing with a 265 tire with the proper offset.
Slow cars are quite possibly the most fun to own: you can push to extract all the performance you want on a daily basis without getting a ticket.

What would be a proper offset on a E36 325i ? I've got ET38 all around with 19x9.5 rears and 255/35s with serious rubbing.. I had originally been told to go with a 265 but there is no way in hell that would have worked..

    Offset 21

I just bought this set of wheels from some guy that had them in a F10 pickup. Apparently they are 21 offset. I tough there were M3's 41 but, I can’t even find where their came from. I have the wheels on 235/40X17 and they rub like a mother!

I bought them because I spot them on this picture so, I assumed there were to fit on my 1997 M3.

How about a 9.5 wheel with same tire size. The offset is 25 (stock is 15 I think). Would this work?

    Thanks,

The wheels will not fit a 3 Series. They are for a 5 Series.

I would not recommend running a chrome wheel in the winter. They are not nearly as good as a painted and clear coated wheel in the winter.

The only advantage of the staggered tires is looks on a BMW. The wider tires and wheels do look good but they will make the car push in corners more than they already do.
If I can help let me know.

    Need advice

I own a 1993 BMW 318i. My car is basically stock, right off the show room floor. I keep it in great condition and wash it about once a week. I have been wanting forever to put some new wheels onto my car, and now that I am out of college making some $$ i can finally do it.

The wheels i am looking at are 18" x 7.5" . I am concerned about rubbing primarly, and then also about my speedometer reading a wrong number. I think the suggested tires for these wheels are 225/40-18. Does anyone have any suggestions, or mostly comments about what i should be aware of? I pretty much open to any feedback that anyone has, cause im really walking into a dark alley on this one because i dont have alot of experience with upgrade type stuff.

    Thanks, Chris

The 225/40R18 is the same height as your OE tires. The speedometer will stay the same as stock. You just need to make sure the offset of the wheel you choose is correct for the car and you won't have a problem.
If I can help let me know.

What does the offset mean? I am not really sure what those 225/40/R18 numbers mean. I know the 18 is the size wheel, but thats about it. Do you think the width of that wheel will cause rubbing in the front when i turn the wheel hard? Thanks

    1999 M3

    Breytons

    Jim-

I have a 99 M3 with stock suspension and I can take these Breyton Magics off my friends car when his lease is up on his 5 series. How can I make this work!!!!

    (Breyton Magics)

    Front- 19/9 with 19/35/245 tires ( I think +20mm offset)
    Rear- 19/10 with 19/30/280 tires (I think +19mm offset)

I can always change some/all tires or change to two more 9in rims if 10's with this offset would NEVER work.

How can I make this work with what would be given to me? I will cut the fender etc....can it be done, and if so, HOW???

    Thanks for the help!

NYCYA, Unless you want to pull the fenders out on the car you won't be able to make those work. The offset is too low to begin with.
    Sorry,

I have the Magic in stock in the silver only. You would have to have the wheels chromed.

    Question E36 M3 fitment : 16" Mille Miglia MM11-2 Sport wheels?

My brother has a set of 16" Mille Miglia MM11-2 Sport wheels with snow tires, which he got from Tirerack last year, that he wants to give to me. Would they fit my E36 M3, or could they be made to fit with spacers? He used them on his 2004 325ci with the sport package. I asked Tirerack with mixed results. Thanks!
