Just not sure what it will look like. My fronts are same specs as yours as well.. see sig. Running 235/35 up front. Mine are 19's tho so not quite exactly the same .. Barely re-read that.

What ever you choose is going to require modification to fit. We do have some 18X9.5 ET 35 wheels listed for the car. The fender lip roll and negative camber will be needed.
If I can help with the tires let me know.

Going to be running 17 X 8.5" Contours offset et +41mm all the way around on a 325i. Looking to space out my wheels to the fender for a nice flush look and to clear the strut up front. Spacers will be 10-12mm, maybe 15mm with some stretch in the front and 5-8mm in the rear. Also want to run mild stretch on tires thinking 205's or 215's? Will this all work out? Was thinking 205/40/17's?

Jim, also a good dedicated summer tire recommendation for this setup would be appreciated. Was thinking Dunlop Direzza DZ101, Yokohama Parada Spec-2, Hankook Ventus R-S2, Kumho Ecsta MX, or Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec. Something along those lines....

I would not go with a 205/40R17 tire on the car. They are way too short and will not have enough load capacity for the car. You would also end up with a bigger gap in the wheel well. I would not go below a 215/45R17 tire on the car. They are still shorter than stock but they would be close.
Of the tires you mentioned I would look at the Dunlop Star Spec and the new Kumho XS. We just tested these two tires and they are extremely good handling.
If I can help with the tires let me know.
    Thank you,

I don't understand your question. I just told you what I'm running. And the rear is lower than on my sig now.

D Force LTW 17x9 Fitment question

I just bought the D Force 17 x 9 rim for my 325is with GC coilovers and no fender roll yet. What size racing tires should I put on it and how big are the front spacers going to have to be?

I have a 96 328i with LTWs on it, HR cup kit. Want to run a 245 rear 235 front set up. will this work? Fenders are rolled. Also what rubber is recommended for a daily driver? Need good treadwear, dry and wet weather performance and some pretty good grip. Saw some goodyears on tirerack for around a hundred. Are Kumho Ecstas?

    slvr325is,

I would look at a 245/40R17 on those wheels. The spacer is going to be about 5mm front. If I can help with the spacer and or tires let me know.

    AggroRider,

A 235/40R17 is going to be easier to fit on the front. With the 245/40R17 you are going to need the fender lip roll and negative camber. You may also need a small spacer.
As far as what tire it would depend on what you are looking for out of the tire. Let me know and I can make a better recommendation.

8J x 17H2 (the size of the wheel)

    I have an '88 735i

    WIll these work?

The 235/45R17 is the correct size tire. The wheels would need to be around a 20 mm offset to make them work. If I can help with the tires let me know.

    Will a set of 18x9 +40 front and 18x9.5 +40 rear with f/r 245/35/18 tires work on a e36 Coupe?

Simple fender roll in the rear?

    TeKNiC330,

You may also need a little negative camber to make it work. If I can help with the tires let me know.

Just curious how big a wheel I could go on a 2007 328XI? My tire size is P205/55HR16. Also for 17" Beyern wheels what offset would I need for the upgrade in wheels?

You can go all the way up to a 20" wheel and tire on the car. Depending on the width of the wheel you want to be around a 32 to 40mm offset.

Will these wheels (pics) fit my E36 ?

Two sets of wheels/tires are for sale locally. The first are from a 2003 E46 M3 and are 17" :

and the others, as shown, from a 03 E46 and are 16" BMW Type 45.

I've read that E46 wheels fit on E36 but E46 M3 don't, but I can't verify this. If either wheel fits I am still not sure whether these would need spacers or have any problems rubbing on my E36.

Also if I want to go to 16" or 17" wheels but not cause speedometer error or change the strut/ shock geometry what size tire would I use ? My car presently has 205/60-15 wheels and tires and does NOT have the sport suspension.
