these e30s are never ending cycle of wheel problems

tirerack guys is there any way a +33mm offset wheels will fit on a e30 spacers no spacers please tell me
so, i guess mostly for my own edifiction because i'm not sure when i'll be buying wheels/tires but it kills me not toknow something about my own car. What i want to know is, how wide and tall can I go with the wheels/tires without having to roll the fenders or put spacers on or anything like that (i guess if the wheels is offset that's ok) on a '93 325i???
Thanks
If you want to use a wheel without a spacer you would need to be right around a 25 to 30 mm offset depending on the wheel width. The wider the wheel the more offset you would want so you would be closer to the 25mm. If you are willing to roll the fender lips and maybe run a spacer then you open up a lot more options on wheels.
We do show a number of wheels on our site that do use a hub centric spacer to fit correctly. If I can help let me know.
Thank you
I will soon be buying some HP EVO's and am leaning towards the 8/9 width respectivly. My car is lowered with H&R race springs with Bilstein shocks and struts. I am currently running -2.2 camber in the rear (is that too much for a spirited driver that never sees the track?) and want to put 235/255's on. My question's are, will this setup work and what tires do you recommend (bang for buck)? Any input is greatly appreciated.

What is the offset of the wheels? Are you talking about 17" or 18" wheels?
Let me know and I can make a recommendation.
I guess I want to go 'backward'.
We've located a cream puff '03 325i with the sport package, including the tires. Unfortunately, we live in SE Pennsylvania where it snows.
I've looked, but I can't find all-season tires that will fit.
So - is it possible to swap out the tires/wheels for a more standard fit?
Thanks,
Dan
I have snow tires and all season tires to fit the wheels. You can also go with a wheel and tire winter package and go to a narrower tire.
If I can help let me know.
will borbet type e wheels you have fit without spacers on my e30 your site says they will but i want to make sure with no rubing or rolling fenders
I am going to be buying new wheels and race rubber for the 95 M3. I do have the fenders rolled. What is the largest tire I can put on all the way around without having to do major body modifications? I dont care if they are 17" or 18". I was thinking of a 285/30-18, but dont know if it would clear the rear. Also, what offsets do I need.
They fit no problem. We supply a 10mm hub centric spacer to give the clearance needed for the E30. We recommend a 205/50R16 tire to fit correctly.
If I can help let me know.
is there any way i can get a 40 or 45 tire or is the 50 the only one that fits and if i lower the car 1.5inches will they still clear thanks for the help
The offset for all 4 is 38 mm and I will be running 18's.Originally Posted by Jim@tirerack
Also, is my rear camber too much for a non track car that does a lot of HWY driving but very spirited?

Porject, I would go with either a 225/40R18 or 235/35R18 all the way around.
If I can help give me a call
I appreciate you wanting to help but, will 255's fit in the rear? Also is my rear camber too much (@-2.2) for a non tracked car?Originally Posted by Jim@tirerack

do you think a 1.5" lowered e30 will fit 16X7.5 wheels with a 215,225-45 tire or will only a 205 fit without rubbing or modification thanks
I would stay with the 205 if you don't want to do anything to the car. They really do fill the wheel well with the 16/7.5 wheels.
If I can help let me know.
the 745i ride in sport mode with standard issue BMW OEM tires, ? Michelin? is too harsh on Chicago streets for me.
Would Changing to Pirelli assymetricos smooth out the ride much?
Or should I up the performance of the standard 745i by upgrading to Pirelli Assymetricos and using separate winter tires?
Actually i am talking about ordering the new 750i so we can't be absolutely sure but everyone doubts they made any real suspension feel changes so it looks like I will order no sport package. (On my 740i I loved the sport).
Do you have the 18" or 19" wheels on the car? I don't think that changing to the Pirelli tire is going to help your ride quality either way.
Jim,
On the tirerack website, you guys have the ASA AR1's listed in 18x9 just for the back for an e36 M3. I'm interested in running the 18x9's all around. The website shows they have a 45 offset. With 245/35's, will they fit on the front also? Suspension is soon to be H&R Race Springs w/ Koni's.
TIA
I have a set of 20x8.5 Epics (40mm offset) that I'm considering putting on my 97 328iS.. is there any way that will fit with 255/35's? Stock height.

i just purchased a 97 328ic 5 speed will 19's fit if so what offset will i need and tire size. or what 18's will fit with tire.
The 19" does fit but you are probably going to have to roll the fender lips. The tire size would be 235/35R19.
