Ok. So I have a 320d e91 touring with Bridgestone run flats all round. I'm in need of a new rear pair and have found some nexen non run flats which are half the price of the bridge stones and get better reviews. Obviously the run flats on the front will have to stay on as I can't afford 4 tyres at the moment. Does this present any handling issues at all?

Think 15" will fit 04 330i? Brake caliper looks kind of big, everything stock currently. Goal is to get more accel with smaller wheels and lower sidewall tires

Ive been searching for hours anf cant find anything that shows if a 235/45/19 will or will not fit my 04 325xi w/o modding the fenders.

I found that 235/35/19 will but not 235/45/19

Can any confirm that the 235/45/19 will fit?

    235 45 19 is 27.4 inches tall.

Even of it did fit, why on Earth would you want such a massively tall tire on your car?

    Hi Everyone!

I have a '07 328i coupe with stock wheels. I'm ready to upgrade and make some changes. I'm looking at tire and wheel options but I'm not very knowledgeable about it all.

    Questions:
    1. I am looking at 19" atm, but I'm not sure if 20" looks better or worse? Will I have to modify anything to make either fit work, no rubbing, etc?
    2. Can I stagger 20" on the back 19" on the front? What will I have to do to make this work?
    3. I need to replace the front bumper due to damage, what do I have to look for as far as specs to make it work with the tire/wheel size? I wanted one larger than my stock bumper cover.
    4. What does roll the lip mean? Sorry I keep seeing this, no idea what it means.
    5. Any other advice about this before I purchase

Will Style 5 fit '97 Z3? I have seen posts where wheels extend beyond fender. What do I need to do to make them look correct? Tires?

    Hi guys,

I've been looking for new 17" wheels for my e46 318ci coupe facelift, and I found the following:
    Front: 17x8, ET35
    Back: 17x9, ET30

Now, I've done a lot of research and calculations but still not sure if they will fit. Don't want to roll fender or stretch tires too much. Car not lowered or anything like that.

    I have an opportunity to pic up a set of brand new F80 437M rims for dirt cheap, the sizes are real close, but the positive offset is different, will I be running into any fenderwell clearance issues with these rims? I am thinking of using 20mm spacers up front and 15mm in the rear. Here are the stats;

    M3 Rims
Tire Size Rim WxD Positive Offset
    255/35R19 9Jx19 ET29
    275/35R19 10Jx19 ET40

I have a 98 Z3 roadster and really like the look of this wheel. Can someone tell me what it is? (sorry I'm still a newb)

Dude, you're good! I think the specs are gonna make them look good mounted. For e36 this would be nice or good on e46 as well

Yeah, I'm good. Put them on our E64, used 15mm up front and 20mm spacers on rear, really changed the appearance of the car, she looks meaner with them instead of the old ellipsoids. These came off a brand new M3 with 27 miles on it. And yes, a 1-1.5" lowering is in the works...

Question Q to TR: How good is the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 vs RE760 Sport?

I searched and didn't find any data here on these new tires from Firestone called Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (FFI5):
    Tirerack: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

This tire is supposed to be a follow on to the Bridgestone RE760 Sport. (Bridgestone owns Firestone) They speak of enhanced wet traction (that i don't care much about). The Bridgestone is a solid tire. Looks like they're made in the same factory in Indonesia.

Saw a very brief "thumbs up" approval of the grip level of the tire on Grassroots Motorsports site, but otherwise I can't find anything that compares the ride, noise levels, steering response and longevity of the FFI5. Anybody have any experience with this tire?

Making it more difficult, an older discontinued all-season tire from Firestone has the same name, and they still make the Firestone Firehawk "wide oval" Indy 500, so your search must be very specific when looking for the new Ultra High Performance Summer FFI5.

    Tirerack, have you driven these!?

    Nice prices!
