I have a 03 325i and I'm wondering if the following setup will fit. I'm on stock suspension, and don't have any plans to lower it in the near future.

    Fronts: 18x8 ET22
    Rear 18x9 ET38

Will I poke or rub with mildly stretched tire?

    Thanks!

Got a '97 M3 running Koni dampers in factory strut housing, with Eibach Sport Springs, which offer a 1" drop in front, .8" drop in rear. Been bouncing around regarding wheels and now am considering either:
    Avant Garde M359 in 18"

Thoughts and ideas on fitment and offset sizes? i really want to get the deep dish look, wouldnt mind minor fender rolling to make them work..

    Thanks!

Will 17x9.5 et57 fit on an e36 m3 coupe? I found a great deal on some wheels and want to know what lengths I would have to go to in order to make them work. First post also.

New to this entire thread thing lol. I have a 03 330i. With 225/45/17 on the front & 245/45/17 on the back, on stock suspension, looking for the best wheels to throw on. Maybe concave wide staggered?

    thanks.

I have a 2000 323i sedan. I am wanting to do 18" wheels. I'm was going to do Avant garde 359, 18x8.5 et35 in front and 18x9.5 et33 in rear. After reading through this forum I'm getting nervous. I want to lower the car also so what can I do to fit without tearing my car up?

Ok so this thread alone has over 3700 pages so I'm just going to ask what I wish to know, despite the fact I'm sure its very much kicking a dead horse. I apologize in advance.

I have a 1992 E30 cabrio, I will be running the Kopi 17x7.5 reps. I would like to know if a 1.8" drop on H&R springs with bilstein shocks is attainable without rubbing issues, and if I can run 215/40/17 or if I should opt for the thinner 205/40/17 tire.

    Thanks so much.

Hi I'm super new here, I am looking for a good website to get wheels off of. I am currently looking at this site (right-click) for rims and tires. First off I was wondering if I have the right specs on those and second if anyone would recommend staggered or square. I am not into racing at all really and am mainly concerned about practical use in the summer. Currently I have the ugly type 156 "16x7 in wheels and my car is a 2007 e90 328xi and I will be using those for my winter tires. 235/35/19 was what I was originally going to go for with with ironman Imove all around with 12mm spacers but I think I may like the staggered look better unless I have to compromise anything. Any general advice or specific opinions on those wheels and tires would help and since I'm not particularly interested in OEM tires I'd appreciate it for a good trustable site for aftermarket. Also if I am going to need the spacers or not.

So maybe I'm confused, but wondering how anyone is supposed to "Please read first" when this thread has been active since 2005.
It would take me a week to read through all of this and possibly still not find what I need.
I would think we might have a Parked thread where the first post is populated with all the "stock" information for each chassis/model etc.
I would tend to think a list with stock data would be a very useful starting point. Knowing the stock bolt pattern, offset, bore etc is good info.

I just fail to see the point of this thread.... LOL
Not bashing anything/anybody, just voicing my .02.
I'm sure I could of missed something obvious here....

I'm looking to run style 172 19x9.5 et32 255/30r19 in a square setup on my '97 540i with sport suspension. I know I'll probably have to run spacers, but will I have issues at full lock and what size spacer would you suggest?

    Thanks in advance.

245/35/18? you MIGHT have to roll your fenders a little. When I ran 245/40/17 on my BCRacing Coilovers I had no trouble. I'm running 18x9 in the back on a 225/40 so you should get by with a 235/40 or a 245/35

I have a 2007 Z4 coupe with sport package...235/40/18 up front and 255/35/18 rear.....I found a near perfect set of BBS CH wheels already mounted with 245/45/18 up front and 265/40/18 rear....Overall diameter increases just a little over an inch.
Do you think they will fit? or are those tires too big.

Found a set of 17 in BMW rims with Michelin pilot run flats for a great price. Not sure what style the rims are yet as I didn't notice them on bmwwheelstyles.com on the first run through.

Problem is the tires are 225/50 vs the preferred 225/45. He said he'll let me put a couple of them on to make sure they fit. So I might give it a go given the price.

Any thoughts? Worried they'll be too tall in the front.

    Thanks!

    Hi all,

I am considering some new wheels for my 2011 135 m-sport. It is stock right now but I plan to lower it slightly (1 inch perhaps). I plan to stick to stock diameter (18") but would like to go wider to put a bit more rubber on the road. I don't want to roll my fenders and I don't want to stretch sidewalls. How wide can I go front and rear?

Stock, as you all probably know, is 7.5" front and 8.5" rear. Would 9" front and 10" rear be possible?

    Thanks!

RE050A and Michelin Pilot PS2 Rear Combo

I hope this is the right place for this post; I guess this is fitment question.

Vehicle: 2008 535i Sport Package (46k miles) I bought the car a few months so I don't have any information on tire replacement history.

Rear Driver Side Tire: Dunlop Sport 01 DSST, 275/35R18 (Condition: Badly worn on the inside and even looks a little bumpy)

Rear Passenger Side Tire: Bridgestone Potenza R050A, 275/35R18 (Condition: Very good ,no where needing to be replaced)

What I am hoping to do is install a gently used 275/35R18 tire to replace the worn Dunlop tire and help me use us the remaining life on my good condition Potenza until they are both ready to be replaced so I can get a nice set. I have two questions:

    1. I found a used Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 275/35zr18 used tire on Ebay that seems to be in decent shape from the pictures. Would this do for a few months until I am ready to replace both rear tires?

    2. Do I need another runflat to go with my Potenza to have a proper fit? I think that Michelin PS2 is a runflat but I was wondering if I had other choices.

    3. I've never driven a "sport package" car before, is it normal for the inside treads to wear out faster than the outer treads? The outer treads looked fine to me and I never would have noticed the inside wear if I hadn't been working on my brakes.

Thanks. If I posted this in the wrong thread I will be happy to delete and repost.

    1994 325i convertible,
I looked up the bolt pattern of my 1995 318IC and it shows as 5 x 120. However, the car has 5 x 100 pattern. I wander if the 318's also came with the smaller 5 x 100 pattern, or of my car has been modified. Any help in this enigma is greatly appreciated

Hey guys i own a e36, I have some wheels in mind. They are 17x9 +17 Work CR Kai replicas. I was thinking about purchasing these wheels with 1.25" wheel adapters. I have no clue on clearance for the e36 and how they will sit with the fender. I know i will have to roll and pull the fenders but I dont want to make it look ridiculous. My question is, has anyone ran this set up on their car or has anyone came close to these wheel specs before? or is this just plain stupid...

Hi im new here, so hello.. i own a 97 318i sedan, it is lowered 1.75inchs and i am very interested in getting some new rims and tires, nothing crazy just something to replace some ugly black rims with hubcaps.. i know the lug pattern is 5x120, but i have no idea if the hub size matters or will that be standard? i noticed when i put my wheels on it line up on the hub then the studs are put in place is there special spacers for this?...

would a 16"x7-7.5" work all the way around okay?

oh and can someone tell me how to post a picture it says use url where do i find that on a picture?
