I have a 91 535i and have been running ASA AR1 17x8JJ. recently picked up a set of Racing Dynamic 8Jx17H2ET15 they do not appear to fit easily over the plastic aligner (74.07 72.6) When I tried to put one on it mashed the aligner. And when I tried to take tire off I had to beat on it to get it off. There is some oxidation build up in the inside of rim where it mounts. Do I just need to clean this up? Do I need a different plastic sleeve? Or will these not fit

Thats what I wondered cause when I took the ring off the RD fit fairly tight. So you think I can run w/o the ring?

I have a 2007 750Li on stock size rims and tires. I want to get some spacers put just so that the rim of my wheels/tires match up with the car. What size should I go with? 25mm?
To have them stick out the same as the rear tires you are going to need a 35 mm spacer. I think they are going to rub and stick out but that is what you would need.
Hey guys,
I think this is the place to ask:
I have a 2000 M5, I want to get a second set of wheels to use snow tires on. I dont want to use a tire wider than 245, or bigger than 18's. What other stock BMW wheels have the same pattern and same offset as my fronts? (I think the rears are too wide of a rim for the winter) I have found some stock BMW wheels with snow tires on them but they are for 04+ 5 series and some for E46 cars...
So if you can't provide me with specific models can you tell me what my bolt pattern is and the front offset? 5 120 ET?
I am not sure which factory wheels will work but we do have both 17" and 18" wheels that work on the car. The 245 tires all the way around are the way to go. If I can help let me know.
I've got a set of staggered 17'' style 66 rims that I need to get winter tires on. The fronts are 8'' wide and the rears 9'' wide. What size do you recommend for winter tires?
Unfortunately I do not have any real good options for the rear staggered. The best thing to do for winter would be to run the 235/45R17 or 245/45R17 all the way around. Both sizes are going to fit both wheels.
If I can help let me know.
Going to purchase a set of wheels (basically M5 reps). What I have come down to is:
Front - 18x8 +35
Rear - 18x9 +38
245/30 tires all around
I have a 99 328i on Rokker coilovers. Question is what spacers are going to be needed? Not trying to tuck and will consider rolling the fenders if needed.
Would appreciate some useful advice!
And any other tire suggestions, thanks!

hi my question would be would 18x9.5 +12mm offset fit on my 1992 bmw 325i ? and if so what kind of modding would i have to do to accomplish this.
Ok, so it is time for some new tires. I was looking at tire rack, and it listed a 255 option tire for my 17 inch style 70's. Can this be right? if it is I am going to have to find some pics to check out the look and go that route.
thanks for the answer
another question my car is stock height, so would i still have the clearance issues?
quick question, will 215's fit 6" wheels?
