    E36 wheel fitment

Ok, I have a E36 currently on 17” x8” wheels with 40 offset, square, with 255 40’s in the rear and 235 45’s in the front. All fenders are rolled. The rear fenders are also slightly pulled. I am on adjustable coil overs with camber plates. No spacers. I do not have any rubbing issues.

I am considering new 17” wheels. The fronts are 8 1/2” with 30 offset. The rears are 9 1/2” with 20 offset. Does anyone have any real world experience with these wheel sizes?

    thanks in advance!

Fronts will be close, rears will rub a lot.

Why would you have to lower it? Check tirerack's simulator or use Google image search if no one replies.

You would only lower it for personal preference,
    Not because you have to!
