Will an 18x7.5 et38 fit?

Although I used the 'Search' function, my attempts were futile. I've seen 18x7.5 et35's and et42's (I think) fit. Im assuming an et38 should fit, but just want to make sure. Additionally, would a 235/40/18 work with this wheel set-up?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

235mm's are a little wide for 7.5" rims but they will work if you still want them.

I think you should go with the +42 offset.

235s arent too wide at all for a 7.5 inch rim, more like.. its the very widest you should go, 245s just wouldnt sit well. but if your car is lowered, 235/40 could be too tall, maybe you could consider a 235/35/40 but its hard to find.

I didn't say they are too wide, I said they're a "little" wide because they would stick out from the rim.
