I want to go very badly but what is with these Monday-Tuesday events?

Weekday events are the best. Less people, and they tend to be more serious about it. Safer!!Originally Posted by mr_mbuna

I don't think I'll be making this one...
Bachelor party in New Orleans towards the end of that month.

Well I can either skip two days of class in February to go to Mardi Gras or I can skip two days of class in April to go to VIR. Guess which?

this is a great DE, Larry thanks for pointing it out to everyone. The event starts with a North & South course split and beginners are taken through some training excercises on the South course...then everyone runs the full course after lunch. Very fun and safe event with the Audi folks...I highly recommend it.
Randy Pobst will be there as this event is one of his visits it seems & the club coordinates it with him, he was there in '03 the last time I was instructing at this event...in fact, He'll drive your car around the track if you want him to, it's a fun time

Because the weekends are booked. Audi got into the driving school game too late for VIR.Originally Posted by mr_mbuna

Just mailed my form in today. I think jkuper is also going... anyone else?
I'm just waiting to see if I can get in the May M School. If not, I will probably go to the April VIR.
I assume it will stay open for awhile, Mon/Tues schools tend not fill up that quickly...

I am planning on attending this event, too. I joined the Audi Club (formerly Quattro Club) when I had my Impreza since they were 'open' about non-Audi owners attending their events. Now I've got an M3 and I'm planning on this being my first event in the car. Glad to know that there will be other BMWs running this event.
I'm mailing the application and check tomorrow.
Bastards, they make you become a member of Audi Club to attend DE.
Most clubs make you become a member to join. Part of it is for insurance liability.Originally Posted by sardil
If you tried to attend a BMW DE without being a member of BMWCCA, I doubt you could attend either.
That being said, Audi runs MANY events per year. VIR, Summit Point, MidOhio, just to name a few. Your membership is good for all those.
I used to be a member of 3 different car clubs w/ a brand I didnt own just to goto more trackdays
