Thread: No sound from speaker?! HELP!

    ex-E36 M3, now 05 MCS DS/W

    No sound from speaker?! HELP!

    Guys, I got this dilemma that has been bugging me for quite some time now. When i got my 95 e36 m3, I noticed that my passenger front speaker has no audio. I thought, oh wells, i'll manage. After a while, I came to realize that I need that speaker to fully enjoy the music. All of my other speakers work. Could it be the stock speaker went bad or is there a short somewhere? If it is indeed that the stock speaker is gone, I will save up until I can replace the entire speaker system all at one time. If there is a potential short somewhere, please advice where I can look. Thanks!

    Could be the speaker, could be the factory amp. If you want to try to isolate the problem, you can try switching the left and right speakers.
