My 36,000mi/3 year new car warranty is up. Should I renew?

I liked the warranty, brakes when needed, oil changes, maintenance.

Just expired last week...Dealer is asking around 1600 for a 6yr 100,000 mi extension. Is it worth it?

Aways better to get the warranty in my mind because you are guarenteed not to have a problem that is expensive because the warranty covers it. It's like a guarantee.

That's not a warranty. It's a 'maintance program'.
