Question Deamon Eyes/ headlight conversion from Bavarian Autosport..

They have the whole package put together for $550 bucks (ellipsoids and DE). What do you guys think of it? is it a good deal considering its already assembled?

    thanks.

Make them upgrade to the DDE's for no charge and i say jump all over it. But not for the DE's i don't think.

Bavauto sells the INPRO angel eyes, not JPs demon eyes. They were going for 350 on the boards a while back. A funny thing though, everyone said "inpro, eeww it glows yellow," and bought the demon eyes, now the DDEs are coming out, and everyone is saying , "DDEs, it's yellow, i like it it's like OEM."

    Lots
I think most people would like them to be Hiper Whites. But the fact of the matter is that it's just too close to sunlight and doesn't jump out at you.

Whatever. I've got to get this pile out of the garage and get on with the next project. Not as earth shattering but still pretty cool.

well it seems like a good idea considering their ellipsoids are $450
    aren't they normally like $350-375?

Yes, this is all very weired, i mentioned this very thing a while ago about the yellowish colour. The yellowish tint looks better anyway cause it looks like the real BMW product, also another thing I've noticed is that the yellowish tint makes your fogs stand out more. I was looking through posts of peeps that have had DE's fitted and their fogs looked really dull, that's why the H7 mod compliments DE's so well.

OK guys, please excuse my ignorance, I probably haven't been keeping up with all these stuff for a while, but can somebody explain to me the diference between "angel eyes", "DEs" and "DDEs".

    thanks.

angel eyes are the oem rings that come on the five series that the idea of DEs came from
DEs are demon eyes: jim powell's version of angel eyes. not quite as bright, and they were more white light
DDEs: daylight demon eyes: again jp's version, just done over for much brighter output.
DEs are 2.5 watts, DDEs are 35 watts
