Airbag light came on, how can I fix it?

I'm sure its the damn seat belt switch people often refer to, but how can I fix it?
    Thanks.

That is correct. The ONLY way to reset it is either with the tool or to pay the stealer to do it for you. Unplug the battery all day long, the light will still pop up. You also might want to look into replacing the part that made it pop up in the first place. I forget which part it is, seatbelt sensor or something. Someone else should chime in as to what exact part it is that caused the sensor to come on in the first place. I lived with the light on my old M3 for 9 months or so before I sold it. It will not make the airbag non functional (it will however make it engage at a lower speed accident as it "assumes" that your seatbelt is not on).

Edit: Is that tint on your car photoshopped?

hey this happened to me last january...took it to the dealer, yea they fixed it....but it cost me $237 bucks!!! it was my passenger seat belt buckle, part number 72-11-8-221-014, price $95.24. With Labor that cost went up to $237.74.

Mine did this 4 times before the stealer put some sort of dilectric goop on the connectors called Stabilant 22. No problems since...
