How the hell do you have 265's on an 8.5 inch rim, I can barely squeeze 255's on the back of my E36 even with significant fender work......19x8.5 all around and 245/35/19 in the front and 265/30/19 in the rear

Suspension: In sig!!!
ON a 8.5" wheel or any width wheels, the tire selection is quite broad. Example: 225's-285's. You can actually put 275's on 8.5" wheels pushing it. I've seen people install tiny 225's tires on 8.5" wheels. Which is stupid to do on a M3.Originally Posted by WhiteM32
I have no idea why you are squeezing the 255's on ur e36. I think the suspension on the M3 is quite different than a regular E36. I know the sways are bigger, the rear trailing arms are bieffer, axle's bieffer, camber is diff, front struts have different pick up points for the sway bar. Maybe this is why???
But it all comes down to wheel offset!!!

I have 255's squeezed on the back of my 325 because it is running on a highly modified NA 3.2 obd1 motor, the rear suspension is setup with RD swaybars, fully adjustable coilovers, and RE RCCA's, so it is not a stock 325, hence the fatter tires and wheels,I have no idea why you are squeezing the 255's on ur e36. I think the suspention on the M3 is quite different than a regular E36. I know the sways are bigger, the rear trailing arms are bieffer, axle's bieffer, camber is diff, front struts have different pick up points for the sway bar. Maybe this is why?
Anyways, here are some shots of my wheels to stay on topic...

I see you changed your original post. ??? I don't see the need to list all ur mods when we are talking about wheels here. Besides I never said "Regular" E36.Originally Posted by WhiteM32
I'm sorry man I wasn't putting ur ride down in any way. I was just stating facts from an OEM Factory BMW point of view. That's great that you have all these M3 upgrades and aftermarket upgrades. Also your car looks really dope. Minus those disgusting, pipe, gutter side skirts, just my .02 cents man. Otherwise your car is sick dude.
Anyway, I don't know why you can't install anything fatter than 255 on ur 325. I know for a fact I can put 275's on my ride with no problem. And do you see me mentioning that I have 265's on the back because I have Cams, Chip, cold air intake, SS exhaust, bigger injectors, headers, 338 diff, X-brace, and fuzzy dice? ummmm.... NO.
Not trying to bring your ride down in anyway man. Dope ride.
