I posted in another thread but got no replies. My question is, with an OBD I car, how much time would be needed for the car to adapt to the mods (or chips). I have read that OBD I does not have "as much" adaptability as OBD II but non-the less still has an adaptive nature to it. (I believe this was written by Jim C. though I may be wrong). What all is "adapted" or changed in an OBD I VS. OBD II? It would seem that if OBD I is indeed adaptive, two back to back differant chip runs or parts swaps wouldn't be a very good quantitative analysis of RWHP (I believe I also remember reading the adaptability is written to a RAM of sorts that isn't cleared by simply unplugging the battery). Can anyone clear this up or point me to some literature.
